Big news!

Boombox is now officially bundling distribution as a service as a part of our premium plan. Think of this as a replacement to Distrokid or Tunecore. You pay a flat monthly fee to distribute through every DSP, and keep 100% of your earnings.

This is a big step in the direction of the all-in-one platform we’ve aspired to since day 1. It’s our hope that Boombox becomes a less expensive, easier-to-use alternative to Dropbox, Disco, and Distrokid.

Between these three tools, you could easily be paying ~$35 / month, and much more in some cases. Why juggle multiple tools when Boombox has it all for half the cost?

Boombox premium is only $18.99 / month (or $15.75 with an annual plan).

Here’s everything included:

  1. 3TB of cloud storage space
  2. Analytics on playlist listeners
  3. Custom branded shares
  4. Password-protected shares
  5. Inboxes for file requests
  6. And now, Distribution

With that, let’s take a closer look at our distribution product, and how it works.

How Boombox Distribution Works

Your dashboard allows you to easily monitor your distributed tracks, streaming activity, downloads and earnings. You can see helpful information at a glance such as your most popular platform, countries, total stream count, earnings & more.

Drill down more deeply into your earnings by platform, song or geography.

Like I mentioned above, with Boombox distribution, you’re entitled to 100% of the revenue your music generates. We do not take a percentage.

Before release, you can easily add splits to your track for any collaborators to make sure payouts are distributed the way you want.

YouTube ContentID is supported as well, automatically searching for unsanctioned use of your music, automatically adding a claim and crediting ad revenue to your royalties.

We’ve got a few more updates to the core product releasing in the next week, so I’ll be in touch soon. In the meantime, I’d love to hear your initial reactions to our distribution offer. Let me know what you think!

Wishing you the best of luck with your music and, as always, happy creating.
