Our mobile app just got a major upgrade.
If you don’t have our mobile app yet, download it now for iOS or Android! If you’ve downloaded it but haven’t logged in recently, go fire it up and take a look!
Here’s a rundown of some of the biggest improvements we’ve made.
Visual improvements: audio on your phone is looking better than ever.

The first thing you’ll notice throughout the app is the aesthetic improvement. A more elegant use of space, iconography and visuals. We believe your work deserves a style that matches and even amplifies your artistry. Your music is the most important part, always. But when you share your work with others, or even play it back for yourself, we want it to be a beautiful experience. We hope this redesign does exactly that.
In addition to the new visuals, we’ve made plenty of updates to the usability of the app to make it easier to navigate and utilize in your day-to-day.
Let’s use the new full screen player as an example.

The first thing you’ll notice is the new player offers an elegant, scrolling waveform that progresses in real time. You can even swipe the waveform to scroll to the different parts of the track more quickly.
If you’re playing a song from your drive, you’ll notice some simple shortcuts in the top right side of the track, including a button for sharing, commenting, downloading and opening the queue.
Playback from a playlist will automatically add any custom artwork you’ve added as a backdrop display to your audio file.
Now let’s take a look at the new queue.

If you’ve got multiple songs queued up for playback, you can view them by clicking the queue button to the far right of the global player at the bottom of your screen.
The queue screen will show you previously played tracks, what’s playing now, and what’s coming next alongside any corresponding artwork. You can even tap and hold any song to drag tracks and change the order of playback.
This is just a small sample of the changes we made to the new and improved experience. Go check it out and let us know what you think!
In case you’re interested, the next items we’ll be working on are sharing entire folders from your drive (instead of just individual songs & playlists), file search, and creating new playlists directly on your mobile device. We’re excited to bring these to you in the coming weeks!
