Here’s the deal…
Our team is always cooking up new ways to help the music community.
At the end of last year, we started live streaming on YouTube to our audience of 10k subscribers with a simple idea. We invited people to submit their WIP songs to an inbox hosted on Boombox.io. We collected submissions for a day, then we went live on YouTube to play the songs back and offer our feedback on the song.
We have since worked with multiple YouTubers to duplicate this content strategy via something we call “Pro Feedback Sessions“. We’ve included an array of creators, from professional mix engineers, to songwriters, producers and more. We’ve even tried it on different platforms, including Twitch, Instagram and TikTok.
The collective response has been outstanding from every angle. The attendees love getting feedback on their tracks. The YouTubers love using this as a way of engaging with their following. And we love that Boombox is being used to facilitate such valuable interactions! That’s a classic “win-win-win” scenario in our opinion.
