Alright, what’s our goal here?
There are some dystopian opinions out there about generative AI in music. At Boombox, we tend to believe it’s less of a threat to musicians, and more of an opportunity. First of all, if you’ve tried it, you know that Gen AI is limited and fails in many ways to mimic human creativity. Even the most well-written prompts aren’t going to puke out the next Mozart. But it can absolutely be effective in helping us move a little faster, overcome a creative block, ideate, or automate a monotonous task.
Boombox Labs was built to bundle together collaborative AI tools that meet those exact use cases. Think of it as your own AI studio assistant… but more punctual and never out for a cigarette break.
